Hi All, Been a long winter, as we have all felt it and I am sure chatted about the winter weather with family, strangers to friends and neighbours.
Today’s blog is a bit different it is loaded with images. All shot in a 2 week period in February on a little island of the coast of Cancun.
Isla Mujeres: (Spanish for “Island of Women”) is an island in the Caribbean Sea, about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) off the Yucatán Peninsula coast. The island is some 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) long and 650 metres (2,130 ft) wide. To the east is the Caribbean Sea with a strong surf and rocky coast, and to the west the skyline of Cancún can be seen across the clear waters. In the 2010 census, the namesake town on the island had a population of 12,642 inhabitants
Whats different about these, beside that lack of my well know SEAN SISK PHOTOGRAPHY water mark being absent. Well. everything is shot with a Samsung Note 4 and all the images are processed via the phone. Every image was shot with the native camera at the highest resolution with auto ISO. I played from there. The processing of all images was either as shot or Aviary and my favorite for many reasons Visual Supply Co ~ VSCO.
Some of these have been shared on Instagram, facebook and perhaps twitter. Please, drop over to any of those and gimme a follow at @SISKPHOTO. You can get some amazing results with these apps and some playing. Give’em a download
All images are from my wanderings of roads, warships, restaurants, food, beaches and whatever I came across.
Enjoy! More soon and spring must be close
I even threw in a selfie!
